THE NECESSITY OF PENI-TENCE. Only by penitence can the pardon of sin be obtained. There are but two roads by which to get to Heaven--innocence and penitence. If, by sin, innocence has been shipwrecked, safety can only be attained through penitence: happy still, that God gives us time to...show more
