About Rouzbeh Yassini

Rouzbeh Yassini is the founder and CEO of YAS Broadband Ventures of Andover, MA. A technology incubator and venture capital firm, it supports novel applications of broadband technology. He is also a senior executive consultant of Cable Television Laboratories, Inc., a research arm of the cable television industry. In 1991, he founded LANcity, introducing the first high-speed communications modem designed to integrate with cable television networks, spawning a new consumer electronics technology category known as the cable modem used today by more than 12 million U.S. households.
