In the photography action told in this book, as Bachler describes it, members of the audience are invited to have their photograph taken with the artist inside a "room" created in the gallery. The unusual thing about the photograph is that Bachler takes it with a gun. He stands next to the person being photographed, positioned in front of a home-made black box (the camera), and shoots, thus opening the 'lens' that captures the dual image. The action will take place during the first weeks of the exhibition at each venue and is accompanied by a selection of photographs entitled Crime Scenes. These were also produced specifically for the show and, according to the curator Christian Dom'nguez, inspired the Photoshooting project.
