Kerr. On motion of Mr. Sharp the reading of the minutes of the last meeting was dispensed with. The Treasurer's report for June was read and accepted and ordered on file. On motion of Jacob Sharp, seconded by George N, Curtis, it was Resolved, that the resolution passed and adopted 8308 at a meeting of the Board of Directors of this company, held on the 11 th day of June, 1885, relating to a lease by this company of the railroad of the Broadway Surface Railroad Company, and also the resolution passed and adopted by the directors of this company at their last meeting, held on the 24th day of June, 1885, approving the contract of lease between this company and the Broadway Surface Railroad Company, dated June 22d, 1885, be and each and both of said resolutions are hereby wholly 830U rescinded and annulled, leaving the relations between this company and said the Broadway Surface Railroad Company to be and remain as previously existing, and the call for a meeting of the stockholders of this company, to be held on the 28th day of July, 1885, to take into consideration the said lease, is hereby countermanded, and the resolution adopted at the last meeting of this Board, authorizing said meeting of stockholders to be called is hereby wholly rescinded and annulled. 8310 Resolved, That the Secretary be and he is hereby instructed to notify the stockholders oi this company that the meeting called for July 28th will not be held.
