"Pearls & other poems" is a personal poetic odyssey that invites the reader to explore an imagination intimately and to appreciate the poems actively. Each poem pulls on the senses to become complete. These are meant to transport the reader on an adventure. They are emotional pearls that must not only be admired but experience. It is the poetic experience that opens the individual up to question and be engaged in the humanness and conversation that are the basic elements of living. These poems emotional range may differ but their denominator is constant: it is love. The poems spring from a nerve of love and become tiny gems that entertain and eventually become our legacies. It is important then, to read these poems with an active imagination so that you may gain the ultimate benefit of the shared poetic expression and more
