About Paul Abrahams

Paul Abrahams grew up in London's 'East End' and left school at sixteen for a day job as a tax officer. But by night he was playing keyboards round the pubs and clubs, and by 1967 he turned professional, backing acts such as P J Proby, Joe Brown and Percy Sledge. His first writing experiences were as a songwriter for various bands, and later as a composer for the theatre. He is best known now for his teaching and books on learning jazz piano. Overtones is his first work of fiction.show more
