About Maria Anna Jarochowska-Dekosko
Maria Anna Jarochowska-de Kosko immigrated to Canada from Poland after completing her university studies and her Ph.D. She writes openly about the experiences of other Polish immigrants, men and women, with honest emotion but without sentimentality. Now retired after her academic career, Miss Jarochowska, who feels comfortable in her Canadian skin, is busy with her studies on Polish immigrants in Canada. She also published several articles on that subject in Polish, and a book titled "Diaspora: Polish Post-war Immigration to Canada, 1940 -1960." She was married to the late Etienne de Kosko.
