About Lesley Sanderson

Lesley spends her days writing in coffee shops in Kings Cross where she lives and also works as a librarian in a multicultural school. She loves the atmosphere and eclectic mix of people in the area. She has lived and worked in Paris and speaks four languages.

She attended the Curtis Brown Creative novel writing course in 2015/6, and in 2017 was shortlisted for the Lucy Cavendish fiction prize.

Lesley discovered Patricia Highsmith as a teenager and has since been hooked on psychological thrillers. She is particularly interested in the psychology of female relationships.

The Orchid Girls is her first psychological thriller. Lucy Price-Lewis has narrated over 40 fiction and non-fiction audiobooks. In addition to her voice-acting skills, Lucy is also the director of Chatterbox Audio. Having produced hundreds of audiobooks for her own company, Lucy brings this knowledge to get the best results out of her own work. Mary Woodvine is a stage and television actress. She trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and has appeared in Doc Martin, Born and Bred, Casualty, The Jury, Pie in the Sky, Down to Earth, Heartbeat and Murder City. In 1994, she played Aurelia Took in the science-fiction drama TV series Space Precinct. She also appeared as Judge Morag Hughes in five episodes of Judge John Deed and as Mrs Teague in the 2015 TV series of Poldark.

Elliot Chapman trained as an actor at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, where he received Carleton Hobbs training for radio, with a main focus on acting for stage and screen. His talents for voiceover and acting have seen him narrate a number of audiobooks. He has also voiced Doctor Who's companion, Ben Jackson, for audio series Doctor Who - The Early Adventures and The Companion Chronicles (Big Finish Productions). Audible is a seller and producer of spoken audio entertainment, information, and educational programming on the Internet.
