One World, Worlds Apart: A Photography Exhibition by the Students and Staff of Kivunim: New Directions 2007-2008
One World, Worlds Apart takes you on a photographic journey through seven different countries around the world, from Morocco to India to Israel. Based on the second Kivunim exhibit at Beth Hatefutsoth: the Nahum Goldmann Museum of the Jewish Diaspora in Tel Aviv, Israel, One World, Worlds Apart presents a unique documentation of world consciousness through a Jewish lens. Through this book, the students and staff of Kivunim: New Directions 2007-2008, with the help of curator and world- renowned Jewish artist Tobi Kahn, try to understand the meaning of living in the Jewish diaspora, by communicating-with images and words-places that are worlds apart. Prepare yourself for a new experience of visual thinking by immersing yourself in the "art of seeing".
