About Leigh Sales
Leigh Sales is a Walkley Award winning journalist who anchors ABC TV's Lateline program on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights. She has held senior positions at the network including National Security Correspondent and Washington Correspondent. Her first book, Detainee 002: the Case of David Hicks, won the 2007 George Munster Award for Independent Journalism and was shortlisted for the 2008 Victorian Premier's Literary Prize.
