The report of the Special Committee on Revision of the Degree for Uniformed Degree Camps, was considered, amended and adopted. The new Degree was named the "Patriarchs Militant." (See Journal, pages 10,111-10,129.) The Special Committee was continued for another year, to correct and supervise the printing of all books, documents, etc., relating to the Degree, and was directed to copyright the Uniform, Flag, Banner and Jewels, adopted for the Degree of Patriarchs Militant. A new form of Public Dedication of an Odd Fellows' Hall was adopted. (See Journal, pages 10,159-10,167.) The Grand Lodge of Australasia was, under certain conditions, invested with all the powers and privileges heretofore granted to the Grand Lodge of the German Empire, and permitted to transact the ordinary Lodge business in the Initiatory Degree. A Special Committee was appointed, to present at next session, "such changes, amendments, alterations, revisions and legislation, as may be necessary to make the Ritual of the Degree Lodges, Daughters of Rebekah, as satisfactory as possible to the several jurisdictions." A vote of thanks was tendered Canton Excelsior No. r, of Louisville, Kentucky, for the aid given to the committee, and for the perfect manner in which they exemplified the Degree of Patriarchs Militant. Bro. J. C. Underwood, G. Rep., of Kentucky, was elected Lieatenant General of the Patriarchs Militant.
