Excerpt from Observations on the Articles Published in the Episcopal Recorder: Over the Signature of "a Member of the Society of Friends"
It will be perceived from the style and address of the Observations, that they were intended for publication in the Episcopal Recorder, the paper in which the other articles appeared. The length how ever, to which the remarks have been extended, and a want of opportunity to consult the Editor of that pe'riodical, have induced their publication in the pre sent form. That the reader may have a full and just view of the whole subject, the Letter of Wil kinson and the two articles under notice, precede the Observations.
