"Whoever thought the idea of cupid to be a romantic one? If I saw a man in diapers' walking toward me with a bow and arrow, I'd scream for security and run the other way! In what crazy world did a man with a weapon become the poster image for love and romance?" -Cupid's Sly Eye. Roll up, roll up! Your first big breathe buys you a ticket to the most thrilling event of them all - The Karma carnival. Earn tokens as you go., take a ride on the 'what goes around comes around ' and guide your way through the maze of fun house mirrors. Enjoy the Karma carnival although it never advertises when it's coming to town. - Karma Points. IN this often HILARIOUS and FASCINATING look into the ideas of life and the behaviours of the people in it, Kerry Connelly manages to ask questions you may never have even thought about! Whether you've ever been called 'snappy', had an unattainable love, an unhappy dead end job or somebody's asked to buy your knickers! 'Observation City' is full of witty, interesting outlooks about life and human behaviour and is fit for discussion about how it is to be just trying to figure it out. Observation City reads with the SASS and WIT reminiscent of 'Sex and the city's' Carrie BRADSHAW and is a charismatic companion for an easy and highly entertaining read. Highly recommended.

Our customer reviews

I was lucky enough to read a pre-released copy of 'Observation City' and I was pleasantly surprised. It's very humorous and quit witted and some of the scenarios the author brings up (such as wanting to be with someone you can't have, being fed up with rude people, figuring out how much superstition really affects our lives and the notion of throwing in the life that makes you unhappy to do something that gratifies you) are all written with a quirky but intelligent wit that I hadn't heard before. really enjoyable.show more

This book left me with a big smile on my face, With titles in it like 'Rage-ahol black two sugars please' I wasn't too sure what to expect- but I instantly became a fan when I finished reading the first paragraph. : "Who thought the idea of cupid to be a romantic one? If I saw a man in diapers' walking toward me with a bow and arrow I'd scream for security and run the other way, in what crazy world did a man with a weapon become a poster image for love and romance?' :) Haha true why hadn't I ever thought of that?! A really fun read that talks with the reader like a best friend. I hope she (author) releases some more like it in the future. Definately Refreshing.show more
