This children's encyclopedia on CD-ROM aims to make discovering information more exciting and give 8-13 year olds a greater understanding of the world we live in. With the complete text of the printed edition and added videos, animations, maps, and sound clips, it should encourage children to broaden their horizons and inspire them to search for information which they had not previously considered. The systems requirments are as follows: Windows CD-ROM: MPC2 with 8Mb RAM: 486 or better CPU running at not less than 33MHz. Video display capable of at least 640 x 480 in 256 colours. Double-speed CD-ROM drive (4x recommended). Sound card and speakers. Windows 3.1, 3.11, or Windows 95.
