It may be admitted, however, that the style in which these Articles of Religion are written, is somewhat oh scure, and the manner in which the doctrines are pre sented in some of them, may be considered objectionable, especially in this age of so great beauty in theological language, and so much consecutiveness in doctrinal state ments; but against the doctrines they contain, objections have never been successful.
