Description

This historic book may have numerous typos and missing text. Purchasers can usually download a free scanned copy of the original book (without typos) from the publisher. Not indexed. Not illustrated. 1914 edition. Cf. No. 113, l. 159. 43. provoke: ' call forth.' 47. rod: the first edition had ' reins.' 51. rage: ' fervour, ' ' enthusiasm.' 52. genial: the common meaning is ' cheerful, ' '...show more
