About Lindsie Tomlinson

Lindsie Tomlinson met and married her husband in her early thirties, and then realized her dream of taking a year off to travel, seeing sixteen different countries on three continents over the course of one year. After returning home to Vancouver and having their baby, the couple embarked on a totally different kind of adventure. They had been completely bitten by the travel bug and didn't want to let having a baby stop them from seeing the world. They planned a "babymoon," returning to Costa Rica where we had honeymooned, when their son Dante was five months old. They spent five weeks there, long enough to experience life with baby in another country and solidify their resolve to continue to travel with baby. In the last few years, Lindsie has taken 18 flights with her babies, numerous road trips, and lots of ferries. She loves speaking to groups of new moms and dads and answering all of the questions they have about traveling with their wee ones. When she's not traveling, she enjoys spending time outdoors, whether walking, running or hiking, date nights (although much too rare!) with her hubby, dinner with girlfriends, playing with her kids, and reading a good book.show more
