The Night Hawk
Who is the Night Hawk? Is he the ghost of Captain Pettygrew, that evil pirate whose story has become legend in the town of Glen Cove? Or is he simply a man who steals money from the men and kisses from the women and in the process, is making a legend of his own? Vanessa Fletcher arrives in Glen Cove at the height of the Night Hawk's escapades. She imagines the handsome Patrick Walsh is the daring, young rogue and sets out to prove it only to find herself caught up in an adventure which includes murder and kidnaping, pirates and illegal moonshine, but also, romance. Like the proper thief she imagines him to be, Patrick Walsh steals Vanessa's heart. Only time will tell if she can separate him from the legend and have the one thing her heart desires.
