Karen Fisher was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is married to Charles E. Fisher Jr. They have seven children, sixteen grandchildren, and six great grandchildren. She is retired from Whirlpool Tulsa Division after working there for 12 years. Her hobbies are writing, sewing, quilting baby quilts, red hats, fishing and church.
