How do the various forms of media work? How are they put together and how are they delivered to us, the consumers? This book looks at the worlds of newspaper and magazine publishing - at the differences and similarities between them, and the techniques of news-gathering and news dissemination. It also looks at the work of the design and production departments, and at how newspapers and magazines are printed, distributed and marketed.
