The Horticultural Society was losing membership and finances. The village church was facing increasing costs which threatened their ability to pay the Parish Share, and the new landlord of the Mooning Gargoyle followed a succession of failed landlords, whose pubs were closing as supermarkets supplied cheaper alcohol and the internet provided social intercourse. What all three organisations needed were new members, and it wasn't long before they started to copy ideas from one another, using technology to help. Over a short time they were all thriving once again, but were all their new members really those they had wanted? New Members is a dark village comedy which sadly results in violence and death.
