About Illana Gozes

Dr. Gozes is a Professor at the Sagol School of Neuroscience, Tel Aviv University in Tel Aviv, Israel and is part of the Sackler Faculty of Medicine. She is the Lily and Avraham Gildor Chair for the Investigation of Growth Factors, the Director of the Adams Super Center for Brain Studies, and Chair, The Eldee Foundation and the Bloomfield Family Supported McGill- Tel Aviv University Collaboration in Brain Research. She was a past President of the Israeli Society of Neuroscience and has won many awards, including the Meitner-Humblodt Research Award (2013) and the Landau Prize for Life Science (2014). She is the Editor-in-Chief, Journal of Molecular Neuroscience, serves on many journal editorial boards, has over 291 publications, and has an h-index of 47.
