If you read with attention the lives of Jacob and David, you will find sheep frequently mentioned; and in the New Testament, our Lord often spoke of them in those wonderful parables of his, which we should read very often, and ponder very seriously. The parable of the Lost Sheep is a very beautiful one. ELSIE AND HER DOG.
