Monika Bergmann-Schmuderer (born April 17, 1978 in Lam) is a German alpine skier. She represented Germany at the 1998, 2002 and 2006 Winter Olympics. She also won a gold medal in team competition at FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 2005. In World Cup she has 6 podiums. Alpine skiing (or downhill skiing) is the sport of sliding down snow-covered hills on skis with fixed-heel bindings.
