Description

In a now global world wherein competition between employees can be measured against poor kids working their hearts out under tight surveillance in a prison-like factory we still teach children nonsense like businesses are places of solidarity... or again the company is a place of self-fulfillment... This is not what Cecile Blanc faces in a multinational firm that has recently recruited her. Her upwardly mobile climb within the organizational chart encompasses "power, lies, sex, camouflage and dirty tricks" as components of everyday life Mishmash by Alexandre Anizy tells the story of this professional adventure in France and the United States.show more

About Alexandre Anizy

Alexandre Anizy was born in the French Ardennes in 1957. After having traipsed around and worked as a lumberjack, factory worker, apprentice, plumber and storekeeper he took advantage of free time to become an expert in political economy at the university. He also acquired competency in management. Relying on personal and professional experience he writes with an aim to decipher social reality. From the sidelines of the literary milieu, Alexandre Anizy freely builds his work in the spirit of a "Free French Literature."show more
