Met according to Law. when a New Vestry and Church Wardens were Chosen to serve the Ensuing year--The Reverend Mr. James Pierce, Nathaniel Barnwell Senr.--John Barnwell Senr. Mr. William Elliott Samuel Grove Vestry Men Andrew Aggnew. Thos. Rutledge Dan1 DeSaussure. Church Wardens William Chaplin--Planter--& Charles Shaw This 16th April 1770 drew two Orders on the Treasurer one of two hundred pounds Currencey being the Sum allowed by law for parochial Charges; the Other for two hundred and twenty four pounds: Eleven Shilling & Eight pence Currencey in favr. of the Revd Mr. James Pierce being in full of his Salarey to the 13th Instant 171 Monday 16th April 1770; agreed by the Vestry at this meeting to allow Margarett Jones 30: Annum Mary Trunkard 30..
