Clinics were conducted for State Oflicers, Divisional Chairmen, Associational Presidents and Young People's Leaders. These Clinics were most helpful to the leaders in giving instruction and information regarding plans for promotion of Associational work, Camps, etc. Miss Juliette Mather, Miss Eva Berry, Miss Helen Heagerty directed the Clinics which were held at Kirkwood, Sikeston, Springfield, Warrensburg, Kirksville and King City. Assemblies Woman's Missionary Union had a very definite part in the success of the Assemblies held at Baptist Hill, Van Buren and Chillicothe. The Southern Union graciously provided for the services of Miss Pearl Caldwell of China, at the first two Assemblies, and Mrs. W. W. Enete of Brazil was the missionary speaker at the North Missouri Assembly. The faculty provided for W.M.U. classes included Mrs. C. M. Truex, Misses Ruth Lucas, Mary Katherine Pittman, Dorothy Roberts, Dorothy Mann, Lucille Carter, Miss Marian Crosno, Dr. and Mrs. Fred Neiger, Mrs. Arthur Hicks, Dr. Robert Pratt and Rev. C. W. Farrar, Jr. Hundreds were enrolled in mission study and hanclcraft classes and received awards for creditable work done. Warm mittens, flannelette gowns, quilts and other articles were made by the Y.W.A.'s and G.A.'s for children in Europe. W. M. U. Ridgecrest The first Southwide W. M. U. Conference held at Ridgecrest in August was attended by more than a thousand women of which 430 were B.W.C. members. A splendid program of inspirational addresses, methods conferences, mission study classes, missionary films, sightseeing tours and social occasions made the week a profitable, delightful time for all who were privileged to attend.
