Our customer reviews

Simple, yet composed in such a way that makes it compelling to incorporate these mindfulness practices into one's daily life. This book has turned out to be the most inspiring and exciting book I have read in years - ironic for me as I would never have considered reading anything in the "for Dummies" series prior to this. Alidina invites the reader to participate in the mindfulness experience, however he does so with a kindness and simplicity that seems to be unavoidable. The practical exercises and meditations are easy to follow and so effective that I found myself wanting to practice more and more the further through the book I read. If you're curious about mindfulness and mindful meditation but have no experience and would like a starting point, I highly recommend Alidina's book. Mindfulness for Dummies could be the beginning of a life of mindfulness for you, as it has been for me.show more
