Jose Miguel "Mike" Fornieles (January 18, 1932-February 11, 1998) was a professional baseball player. He was a right-handed pitcher over parts of twelve seasons (1952-1963) with the Washington Senators/Minnesota Twins, Chicago White Sox, Baltimore Orioles and Boston Red Sox. For his career, he compiled a 63-64 record in 432 appearances, mostly as a relief pitcher, with a 3.96 earned run average and 576 strikeouts. Fornieles was named to the 1961 American League All-Star team while with Boston. He was born in Havana, Cuba and died in St. Petersburg, Florida at the age of 66.
