Michael Charles McKenry (born March 4, 1985 in Knoxville, Tennessee) is an American professional baseball catcher in the Boston Red Sox organization of Major League Baseball. McKenry was drafted by the Colorado Rockies in the 7th round of the 2006 Major League Baseball Draft. On March 29, 2011, McKenry was traded to the Red Sox for minor league RHP Daniel Turpen. Baseball is a bat-and-ball sport played between two teams of nine players each. The goal is to score runs by hitting a thrown ball with a bat and touching a series of four bases arranged at the corners of a ninety-foot square, or diamond.
