Mayer; counsel, Wm. L. Perkins. The Poughkeepsie, N. Y., Druggists' Association enjoyed a love feast and entertainment at the.iorton House on the evening of May 17. The feature of the evening was the presentation of a handsome chair to the retiring president, Frank J. Schwartz. The new officers of the association are: President, V. J. Bolton; vice-president, Grant Robertson; secretary, Geo. C. Schlegel; treasurer, H. B. Bevier. OAIOON-LYON STORE OPENED The palatial pharmacy of the Cahoon-Lyon Drug Co., at 319 Main street, Buifalo, N. Y., was opened to the public on May 3, and thousands entered to view the attractions of the new store, which was literally a bower of flowers. Some of the most prominent druggists in the company are interested in the new store, and among them are a number who have won national reputation as aggressive cutters. It is this fact that has made the other druggists of Buffalo very uneasy, and resulted in the temporary abandonment of a price-schedule by the Erie County R. D. A. The oflicers of the company are: President. Geo. C. Lyon, Providence, R. I.; vice-president, Wm. C. Bolton, Brooklyn; treasurer, E. D. Cahoon, of the Riker Drug Co., New York; secretary and general manager, E. P. Dodge; assistant manager, A. M. Kelsey. Among the directors are E. P. Jaynes, Boston; A. H. Cosden, New York, and L. K. Liggett, general manager of the United Drug Co., manufacturers of the Rexall remedies. There was a big banquet given at the Iroquois Hotel on the opening night, and attended by druggists from many diiierent cities.
