Excerpt from The Medical News, Vol. 71: A Weekly Medical Journal; June-December, 1897 Cw1 boy about ten years of age came to me ten days after he was struck in the right eye with a sharp stick, which cut a ragged wound at the inner side of the cornea, extending vertically across its entire breadth. The iris tissue was clamped in the wound and protruding, and a grayish line was maniv fest about the center of this tissue and extended somewhat into the corneal area.
