This and the preceding powder are used in opacities of the cornea, by blowing them into the eye through a quill. t. Dry Collyrium of Opium, ta. i R. Pulveris Opii, gr. iv. Hydrargyri Chloridi Mitis, Sacchari, 5.5. Bj. " Tere bene. ' These compounds are blown into the eyes for the removal of specks on the cornea resulting from inflammation. Powder of Blue Vitriol, &c. R. Cupri Sulphatis, Boli Armeniae, as Camphoraa, 5ij. Fiat pulvis.---Put Zj. of this powder into a pint of boiling water; filter the solution, and mix 5j. of it with of clear water, and apply it to the purulent eyes of infants by means of a syringe, pro re nata.
