Mark Price Freeman (born December 7, 1930 in Memphis, Tennessee, died February 21, 2006 in Rancho Mirage, California) was a right-handed baseball pitcher who played professionally from 1952 to 1954 and from 1956 to 1960, and in the major leagues from 1959 to 1960. He was originally signed by the New York Yankees as an amateur free-agent in 1952. He played in the big league for the Yankees, Kansas City Athletics and Chicago Cubs. He attended Louisiana State University. Freeman began his professional career in 1952, pitching for the Binghamton Triplets, going 7-5 with a 4.10 ERA in 17 games (14 starts).show more
