Prolonging his life, much less curing him. I soon found out that he had originally been of a robust constitution, but that he had gradually fallen away, until suddenly attacked by this galloping consumption. After several weeks' treatment, during which time the life of the patient seemed hanging by a mere thread, he began to amend, and, after a long time, regained his health. One of his lungs was nearly gone, - but which I was In time to save. This gentleman had suffered from sperma torrhoea and nocturnal emissions, which had been the original causes of his decline.
