Description

Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. The Mangapai River is a river of the Northland Region of New Zealand's North Island. It is perhaps better described as a silty arm of Whangarei Harbour, located 10 kilometres due south of Whangarei. Its average width is some four kilometres, but the silty nature of its course means that the stream itself is far narrower. The Northland Region (M ori: Te Tai-tokerau, also Te Hiku-o-te-Ika, 'the Tail of the Fish (of Maui)'), one of the 16 regions of New Zealand, is, as the name suggests, the northernmost of New Zealand's administrative regions. The main centre is the city of Whangarei.show more
