Making Math Meaningful 5 (student Directed/no Teacher Bk)
Focusing on word problems, this unique math program provides your child with firsthand experiences for each math concept and skill. Teaching begins with concrete experiences and moves to the abstract. Your children start by solving problems directly with the use of real objects, bringing real meaning to math symbols. Each lesson includes a list of materials needed, a description of the concept or skill being taught, and explicit instructions for the parent on what to do and say for each lesson. No lesson planning is needed. Levels 5, 6 and Algebra are written directly to your child. Answers to the Student Workbook pages are at the end of each lesson.
