Tammy Credicott has a bachelor's degree in business from California State University, Fresno, and is a recipe developer, food photographer, public speaker, allergy-friendly cooking instructor, and the national bestselling author of Paleo Indulgences and The Healthy Gluten-Free Life. In her spare time, she likes to contribute recipes and photos to her husband's publication, Paleo Magazine. Tammy has a passion for understanding health and wellness as it relates to nutrition and has used this knowledge to help her family overcome health issues such as celiac disease, multiple food intolerances, eczema, and ADD. She lives in Bend, Oregon, with her husband and two daughters.

This book has been a true blessing, and perfect timing for me to read! Just like Tammy, I too am a busy mom who works, runs my kids to school and activities every day, and still needs to find time to go to the grocery store and come home to cook a healthy meal for my family. We love this crazy life, and I was fortunate enough to receive an advance copy of Tammy's book. I immediately read it cover to cover, which is unusual for a cookbook, but I thoroughly enjoyed reading about Tammy's introduction into a paleo lifestyle and the stories about how she manages her own family. She is a REAL mom and I appreciate her sense of humor. My family and I also live a (mostly) paleo lifestyle, and the recipes and ideas provided in this book are incredibly helpful, especially for the most whole-hearted paleo eaters. I love to cook, but it can be tedious to think of what to do with meat and veggies, and to make meals healthy every day, and Tammy's ideas for ALL meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner, are truly original and delicious. We have so far tried several dinners and salads, including the Bacon & Onion Roast, and the Creamy Cilantro No Potato Salad. Her ideas for snacks and treats are definite crowd pleasers too. We usually don't think ahead of what to bring on the road for snacks until we get to our first gas station, but the section of the book, "Travel Treats," will make you want to plan ahead and pack your cooler full. I have never had a cookbook that goes into so much detail to instruct how to prepare and store meals properly - it is simply what makes this book priceless!show more
