About William H Smallman D Miss

Dr. Bill Smallman was raised in a mainline Protestant denomination until he became a born-again Evangelical believer in a Fundamentalist church. This allows perspectives from within various traditions and an irenic spirit in tracking their conflicted histories. After an early career as an aerospace engineer, Bill completed seminary and served in Brazil as a missionary and then as a mission administrator. With later degrees in Communications and Missiology (D.Miss. from TEDS) he was also an adjunct professor of Missiology in several Baptist seminaries. Publications include Missions in a New Millennium (as co-editor), Able to Teach Others Also (2001), and A Missions Toolkit for Local Churches (2014).show more
