The magistrates and constables, of Lebanon county met in Alderman C. O. Booth's office on April 5 and perfected their organization, which was begun on March nth, by the election of a vice president and assistant secretary. The officers of the organization as thus completed are, President, J. G. Stauffer, J. P. Palmyra; Vice President, John Sohn, constable, Lebanon; Secretary, Robt. L. Miller, alderman, Lebanon; Assistant Secretary, H. G. Miller, alderman, Lebanon; Treasurer, Charles Forster, alderman, Lebanon. A committee was appointed to decide upon certain forms of legal blanks and ask for bids for printing them and to report at the next meeting a uniform rate of percentage to be charged by the magistrates of Lebanon county on both local and foreign collections. All present enrolled themselves as members and several who were unable to attepd have since been enrolled. The meeting was both harmonious and instructive, several questions of interest being touched upon and briefly discussed. The following constitution and by-laws were adopted by sections and as a whole and the meeting adjonrned to meet on the first Monday in June: CONPfriTT rrinx ARTICLE I. This Association shall be known by the name and title of "The Aldermen, Justices of the Peace and Constables' Association of Lebanon County." ARTICLE II.
