About Gary R Winney

Gary was born and raised in Grass Valley Ca. in 1939 and graduated from the Nevada Union High School in 1958. A few days after graduation he found himself swinging a pick and shovel on a construction project. At the end of the summer, he had money in his pocket and left Grass Valley for good. He and his wife have been married more than fifty years. They have two children and two grandchildren. During the past several years, they have traveled extensively and are living their lives to the fullest. He began writing for pleasure after retiring from his career in civil engineering.
