Mable Ferguson (born January 18, 1955 in Los Angeles, California) is an American athlete who mainly competed in the 400 metres. She competed for the United States at the 1972 Summer Olympics held in Munich, Germany she won the silver medal in the 4 x 400 metres where with her team mates Madeline Manning, Cheryl Toussaint and Kathy Hammond. At the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, 38 events in athletics were contested, 24 for men and 14 for women. There were a total number of 1324 participating athletes from 104 countries.show more
