About Chantel Sills
Chantel Sills was born January 10, 1993 in Norfolk, Virginia. She is a Granby High graduate; Class of 2011, and currently attends College. She's majoring in Creative Writing and double minoring in Theatre and Women's and Gender Studies. She has always been a very creative person, with a vivid imagination who fell in love with writing as a child. The pen didn't officially touch the paper until 3rd grade when her grammar tutor had her write a book for her final exercise. That book showed her that writing was her calling, and over the years she's written plenty of plays, short stories, and is currently working on a web series called The Loving Games. Now she has her first published novel, Loving A Baller. She takes great pride in this book and every character, especially Brooklyn. She feels very connected with her. Just like Brooklyn, she had an experience when she had to choose between a relationship and her sanity; and just like Brooklyn, she walked away.
