About Barbara Phillips

Barbara Phillips has always had an active imagination. During her youth she wrote poetry, designed dresses for her dolls, sang in local productions and school while read voraciously. She participated in musical productions during much of her life and acted in school and community theater. Barbara sang and played the part of the nun in Canterbury Tales and the housekeeper in Man of La Mancha. She began to write novels while she was teaching high school and college English classes. She was a teacher for over 30 years. She's been writing regularly for over 30 years. Since 2011 she has written and has published seven novels including Love's Legacy. Barbara, her husband, and family members, enjoy traveling. Her grandfather told her, "If you want to see the world you have to set your mind to do it. When your grandmother had poor health I stayed home. I wanted her to get well so we could travel some more. She never did. So, don't you wait for someday, because someday never comes.
