"J R WARD in Lover Enshrined takes a fork in the road from her other books and where is would she go had she left this story solely Phury's? Yes a little more heat on his romance with Cormia seems to be a common complaint and with that I would agree but that does not make this better any less a journey of imagination and flair. Characters are introduced and re welcomed leaving us wondering what will happen in the coming books. She has left so much open that the series never really needs to end. There comes a time when the Old Guard must give way to the Young Guard else where would we be without a new set of loves, Brothers, Shellans and other so much more interesting characters that you have to wonder where J R WARD's imagination ends! I found it a brilliant read and trusted an author to know where she was going with her storyline and I believe she did a splendid and spectacular job. GREAT READ! WELL DONE JR! CANNOT WAIT FOR THE NEXT BOOK!"show moreby a Book Depository customer
"Not at all what I expected but in no way was it disappointing. I travelled a path with J R WARD that kept talking different forks and I was enthralled every minute. It was meant to be Phury's and Cormia's story and in a way perhaps they were done out of a full book but that in no way diminishes the power of the story. My mind is ablaze at where next J R will take her readers in the upcomong books. Rehvenge's book is next and I have to wonder what will happen to him and where the new characters' roads will lead them. I read this book with an open mind and decided to leave off my expectations of what I wanted and let the author lead me to where she wanted me to go and I am happy I did so. With that process I read a brilliant book and cannot wait to re read it along with its Brothers again! 10/10 J R WARD!"show moreby a Book Depository customer
