Are you someone who had or has a super, intense crush on a band or celebrity? Maybe it was Rick Springfield, the Back Street Boys, Boyz II Men or Duran Duran OR maybe it IS Harry Styles or 5 SOS. If you ever dreamed about meeting your celebrity crush, you will totally get LOVE FOR DUNCES. This is a cute and quirky short novel that is a light-hearted and fun read. The story follows the lives of Ollie McBride and the members of her favorite band, Heaven. Ollie is the die-hard, super fan who will always have a soft spot for her fave band, Heaven. In high school Ollie's celebrity crush was Ash Bradford, their lead guitarist. She and her two "besties," Zoey and Mary Beth, consumed themselves with Heaven music and gossip every second they got. Fifteen years later, Ollie is grown and has recently been promoted to a great new job. Her life has taken turns leading her away from her beloved Ash and Heaven. Back in the day, Heaven played to millions of screaming teens. Skip to the present, Heaven has had some rough patches, just like Ash's love life...but things are looking up for both Ash and his band. Fate is smiling in Ollie's direction and she'll have a chance to be at a Heaven concert, and even their meet & greet, right in her own town. Now, to have all of her dreams come true all she has to do is find the love of her life. Ollie's hopes are high as her path crosses several eligible bachelors. But Brock, Ollie's irresistible ex-boyfriend, the only long-term relationship she ever had, comes back into her life sending her into a myriad of self-examinations and commotion. Brock has grown up a lot and owns a successful business. He applies his work ethics to all areas of his life. Whether you're 15 or 70, chances are you'll love engaging yourself in Ollie's life as she learns though love may be a hard course, sometimes it can be as simple as adding 1 + more

About MS Kelli M Knight

"The Renaissance gene" as I call it, must be present in my biological make-up as my entire family - my parents and 4 brothers and sisters, are all talented in the arts and in teaching. Ultimately I recognize my talents are God given. I thank Him for the madnessof this creative outlet. I've always loved writing and drawing. In fact, I can't remember an era in my life that I didn't write. From the time I could put my thoughts on paper, I wrote short stories. In second grade writing became an outlet for me to experience and share life. My bachelors degree is in Liberal Arts which I received from Louisiana State University. From 1995-97 I worked as the PR Assistant for The American Red Cross in Southeast Louisiana. One of my many responsibilities was writing the articles and producing the internal, monthly and quarterly newsletters that were disseminated to the 13 parishes in our chapter. 1997 was the year I started my family, having my first baby. To stay home with him, I started a freelance graphic design business but somehow found the time to continue to write as a hobby. In 2002 one of my best friends convinced me to put all the ideas I talked of with her into screenplays - which I did, and I wrote and wrote until I had quite a few screenplays. My daughter entered the picture by this time, I wrote mostly between the hours of 10pm and 1am. Continuing to seize writing opportunities I was offered my own column from 2006 - 2008. It was a monthly feature article titled "Heart of Baton Rouge" in Town Favorites, a magazine local to Baton Rouge. The emphasis was on small businesses and the owners and the blood, sweat, and tears that created their interesting and unique back stories. I continued writing screenplays, but I LOVE the stories I write and the characters I create. I think they are wonderful enough that others would enjoy them - why else would I bring them all together in a screenplay if I didn't want to share them. However, screenplays are rarely seen by anyone other than the writer or someone paid to do coverage. So, I decided to take my screenplays and change them into novels to share them with the world. My stories are all fiction, but based on natural human tendencies and I believe most anyone can relate, understand, and more
