Lord Byron and His Detractors
A defense of Byron's personal life, basically in the form of a refutation of Astarte, which was an attack on Byron written by his grandson, Lord Lovelace. This important 1906 document in the controversy contains two essays answering Lovelace. This title is cited and recommended by the Cambridge Bibliography of English Literature.
