About Tj Reeder

I learned to read in the first grade, and that was about the only thing I did learn in school. I couldn't stop reading and just let the rest roll over me. Got booted out of school and just to show them I joined the Marines at 17. I always admired that some folks could write a book. I mean think about it- I love to read, live to read, but to write a book? Nah, this is magic! It takes many years of schooling to be able to write a book, and God knows I sure never had that. I got my GED because the First Sergeant in my last unit made me go take the test (the other option was death so..) I guess that day they graded on a big curve 'cause I passed somehow. Anyway, one day with no planning, I started writing this story, I know it reads like an uneducated fool wrote it and God knows one did! I wrote it like I talk and think- I really don't even know when to use a period or a comma, but I figger anybody can tell a story and so I did. I liked it when I wrote it, and I still like it. I have places where it still makes me laugh out loud, and places where I get something in my eye, so I guess I did a fair job of it. Anyway, if you have got this far you now know a bit about the ol' man that wrote it. I hope you find a small bit of something in it that you enjoy. If so I am very happy because good or bad, I by God wrote a book!! And my 90 year old momma read it and really liked it. Made me proud.
