Description

Please note that the content of this book primarily consists of articles available from Wikipedia or other free sources online. Victoria station, also known as London Victoria, is a central London railway terminus and London Underground station complex in the City of Westminster. It is named after nearby Victoria Street rather than Queen Victoria. It is the second busiest railway terminus in London (and the UK) after Waterloo, and includes an air terminal for passengers travelling by train to Gatwick Airport. The area around the station has also become an important interchange for other forms of transport: a local bus station is in the forecourt, and a terminal for nationwide long-distance road coaches at Victoria Coach Station is nearby. Victoria is in Travelcard Zone 1.show more
