The station was originally named Shipton & Londesborough, was renamed to Shipton in April 1864 and became Londesborough in January 1867. It closed on 27 November 1965. Londesborough is a village and civil parish in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England. It is situated approximately 2.5 miles (4 km) north of the market town of Market Weighton.show more
